Staff from the Streets Museum attended an annual commemoration of The Battle of Bexley Square, when  unemployed Salford workers demonstrated for basic human rights. This event remains without commemoration. The Streets Museum (and other cultural organsiations), aim to work towards including this event as a central feature of future cultural commemoration.
