Our  workshops with schools are designed to enable younger children to engage with the lost urban heritage of the city, using creative  skills. Workshops with adults are aimed at sharing stories about home and working life, using family photographs and related objects. We also teach people how to scan in their own snaps and digitally archive them.  We collect home movies, so that The North West Film Archive can preserve them (in return the donor receives a high quality digitised copy).

To date, we have undertaken workshops at many different venues including: The Angel Centre, Salford, Salford Museum and Art Gallery, Hope Street Chapel, The Working Class Movement Library,  The Broughton Trust, Salford Lads Club, Ordsall Community Cafe,  RITA in Lower Broughton, Broughton Family Fun Day, Lower Broughton, The Ordsall Festival, Ordsall Park.

With thanks to MIRIAD, Manchester Metropolitan University. Also, to Salford University and The Heritage Lottery Fund for supporting our developing project.
